L&rsquo;id\u00e9e d&rsquo;en faire une SM pour tous les jours a vite germ\u00e9e. Mise en application tr\u00e8s rapidement, j&rsquo;ai eu l&rsquo;id\u00e9e de lui monter la face avant Am\u00e9ricaine. Certes moins jolie, mais plus efficace au niveau de l&rsquo;\u00e9clairage, et moins complexe.<\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 Alexandre, j&rsquo;ai pu acqu\u00e9rir les 3 pi\u00e8ces principales. Les phares US Sealed beam seront remplac\u00e9s par des code Europ\u00e9en, VALEO gr\u00e2ce au conseil de mon ami Guy Stoeckel.<\/p>\n<p>La restauration est assez simple, d\u00e9montage, traitement de chaque pi\u00e8ces, et remontage. Seule difficult\u00e9, les phares Valeo ont trois petits t\u00e9tons, et ceux-ci correspondent parfaitement pour les phares situ\u00e9s \u00e0 droite, mais n\u00e9cessitent des ajustements pour les deux phares gauches.<\/p>\n<p>J&rsquo;ai fait peindre les galbes de phares de la couleur que j&rsquo;ai choisie pour cette SM, Vert Vega des ann\u00e9es 90 de Citro\u00ebn, Xantia, XM, Saxo etc&#8230; Je rappel que cette SM est \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent \u00e9quip\u00e9e d&rsquo;un moteur DS a \u00e0 re\u00e7u beaucoup d&rsquo;autres modifications pour fiabilit\u00e9 et pratique. Elle est actuellement en peinture chez mon carrossier.<\/p>\n<p>Puis assemblage de la face compl\u00e8te, avec le pare-chocs. J&rsquo;ai compt\u00e9 plus de 12 heures de travail, et un co\u00fbt \u00e9lev\u00e9 puisque j&rsquo;avais aucunes pi\u00e8ces. Mais bien neuf, c&rsquo;est jolie une face avant US.
